The Newforge Taggers Tag Rugby Football Club was established in September 2006. It is a Tag Ruby Club for those with learning difficulties and was the first club of its type in Ireland.
The number of playing members at the club continues to grow. The players, who are both male and female, all have a learning difficulty. The club caters from age six with no upper age limit. The coaches have seen, and continue to see, a very noticeable improvement in our players' skill levels and understanding of the game.
